First Day of School!!!
Today was a very exciting day for both Dakota and I, the first day of Preschool. I was so nervous for him that I couldn't sleep all last night. Since I signed him up in January, I have been talking about it to him non-stop and driving by so that he could look at the big red Apple. His school is right by Scott's work, so dad will get to take him most of the time, but I had to do on the first day. He ran right in and didn't even look back!!! He will be going every Tues/ Thurs from 9:00 - 11:15.
What was most amazing was how much I could do in 2 hours and 15 minutes. I went to Smith's, took my groceries home, went to Costco, got my car washed and still got there 10 minutes early. Plus.... I didn't have to buy any extra snacks or toys!

Gone Hunting
The Fall is by far my favorite season, but there is one bad thing about it...... Hunting Season!! From this weekend, through November Scott tries to go as much as possible. When we were first married I went a couple of times, but I was not a fan and now I get to stay home with Dakota and Bridger. The archery deer hunt is this weekend and hopefully he will get a big one, but I know that he won't. Scott always likes to drag the season out by claiming that he is waiting for a really big deer! Needless to say, it is going to be a long 4 days!!!
Somehow Dakota just knew what was going on and decided to get all of his stuff ready. His pile consisted of boots, a shirt and vest, his water bottle and gun, and a bag of mini marshmallows. Luckily I took him to see my mom and brothers while Scott packed and left, so to save him from too much trauma.

Our Anniversary Date
Scott and I had so much fun on our little getaway. We first went to the melting pot for dinner (one of my favorite places to eat) and then went and stayed at Snowbird. I never new all of the fun stuff that there is to do there. We road the tram and hiked around a bit and also went on the Zip Line and Alpine Slide. It is so nice to just get to be husband and wife for a day (opposed to mom and dad)!!!

Happy Anniversary!
Today is mine and Scott's 5th Anniversary. It is weird to think that 5 years ago I was on my way to the Manti temple to get married. I was so stressed about the weather and everything with the reception and honeymoon. Who would have thought that 5 years later my big stress for the day would be potty training and keeping Dakota from saying "shut up" (which he claims that I taught him). Our lives have changed so much since our wedding, but lucky for us things seem to just keep getting better and better. I am looking forward to the next 5 years. It is excitning to think about what our life will be like on our 10th (hopefully we will have a little girl.... but probably just two more boys).
Tonight we are going to Snowbird and spending the day up there tomorrow. Here are so picutres from our Anniversary last year. We decided to go all out and went on a 7 day cruise to Alaska, since we knew that things were going to change once Bridger got here. Luckily I was only 20 weeks pregnany, because the cruise lines make a fuss after 22 weeks. We had so much fun, just the two of us!!!

Itty Bitty Soccer
One great thing about living in Lehi is that the Legacy Center has so many fun programs for Dakota to participate in. The Itty Bitty Sports program for 3 and 4 year olds is awesome and Dakota just finished Soccer. He had a hard time not using his hands and scored a few goals for the other team, but overall had a great time running around. The best was when he was goalie. When he was paying attention he was usually crawling around in the goal. It looked funny, but was very effective in blocking the ball.

Highland Days
He was excited though to see his truck.
(my uncle borrowed it to advertise for his storage units)
Our whole family had fun with Highland Days activities. It started with my dad, Autumn and me running in the 5K. Scott and Ray decided to do a Mountain Bike race which was a little scary due to the fact that Scott hasn't ridden his bike in over a year. It was around 25 miles and went all over the mountain in Alpine. Scott ended up doing great, but today his butt has been killing him. Then we all met up to watch the parade. Dakota, Landen and Laila loved all of the candy and were very aggressive in getting it!
