AF Canyon Half

I am not sure how to spice up all my race pictures....
I am pretty sure that I have 100 pictures of us in the same pose
either prior to or after running.

This past Saturday we ran the AF Canyon Half Marathon for the second time.
It is my favorite Half that we have done..... well organized and good course!

As shown in the pictures, Scott is always thrilled to death about running at 6 AM.
He always does so good. He trains exactly ZERO miles in between races, yet stays right with me and on this race even finished stronger than me!!!
It is actually super annoying, but I don't think that I could do a race without him.

Our next big event..... our first Triathlon next month!!!!

TRAX

Yesterday the boys and I road TRAX to City Creek.
I wanted to do some shopping and I thought the boys would have fun riding the train.
We didn't get as much shopping done as I would have liked to....
but the boys had so much fun.
They loved seeing the fish and walking around.
Bridger fell fast asleep on the TRAX ride home.

RAGNAR 2012

Last weekend I ran the Wasatch Back!!!! aka Ragnar
I was invited to be on a team with some girls in my ward.
It was so much fun training with and getting to know them.

We were van #2, so we started Friday at noon near Ogden.
My first leg was only about 3.5 miles,

My 2nd leg was 7 miles at around 11 pm.
Even though it was late, this was my favorite run!
The night weather was the perfect temperature.

My last leg was at 10:30 am on Saturday and was 5.5 miles.
It had a lot of up hill and it was HOT!
I was more than happy to Be done with that run.

Overall our team did great.... we finished in around 31 hours.
Scott came and met me in Park City and we stayed the night there.
Needless to say.... I was ready for some sleep!

a lost tooth,

This cute boy lost his 1st tooth on Monday....
He then accidentally spit out the cookie dough he was eating, and swallowed his tooth!

After claiming that he was going to throw it up,
I convinced him that he could write a letter to the Tooth Fairy.

His letter read,

Tooth Fairy
I lost my tooth,
it is in my tummy.
Dakota

.... and the Tooth Fairy loved his letter :-)
