Lego Americana Roadshow

A few weeks ago I checked the boys out of school and took them up to Fashion Place mall to see the Lego Americana Riadshow. They are always begging me to check them out, but when U told them we were going to the mall they were both in tears :-) After a gas station treat run, they calmed down and once they saw all of the amazing legos I think they were glad we went. There were all different buildings and monuments. My personal favorite was the Liberty Bell. The details were unreal!!! Dakota loved reading how many master builders it took to build each display and how many hours it took them.

The only picture I got of Reese were of her super cute Salt Water sandals!

Easter 2015

Everyone had so much fun this Easter. They had Easter Egg decorating at my moms and the always exciting money $$$ Easter Egg hunt at my dad's house.

Easter morning the boys woke up early, along with Reese and easily found their Easter baskets. I had so much fun putting together a little girl basket!

Reese is O.N.E.

Dear Miss Reese,

I can't believe that you are already one years old!!!It seems like yesterday we were hanging out in the hospital watching the HG channel.  From the minute you were born I just wanted to be left alone with  you so that we could snuggle.  One night in the hospital in the middle of the night,  I had the nurses bring you out from the nursery just so I could see you.

I don't know if it was because you are a girl, or because it took awhile to get you, or because I am 30 not 21... but with you I really enjoyed having an infant.  Right away I loved spending girl time with you.  I loved taking you running with me, to get our nails done and pretty much anywhere!!!  I am not the only one that is obsessed with you.... Your dad can seriously not get enough of you!!!  From about 7-11 months you wanted to be held all of the time.  Your dad could care less.  I came home one day to find him holding you in the shower, and you were just as happy as can be!  Dad would always say "Before long she won't ever want to be held!!!"  So he was happy to do it.

I have loved seeing you interact with your older brothers.  They are always all over you!!! Between me and you I would have to say that Bridger has been your favorite... he is just a little more gentle with you and less in your face :-)  You are always so excited to see them.

You started crawling around 7 months and walking at about 11 months.  I thought that you would be less advanced with your motor skills than your brothers because I had heard that about girls....  but you have been right on track with them.  I have loved how vocal you are.  Jibber Jabbing all of the time.  Right now your 2 big words are HI and Ugh Oh.  You also love to yell and dance to music.  You are very social, always wanting to interact with little girls at church and anywhere that we go.

Right now I would have to say your favorite things are.... Baths, Grapes, Books, Balloons, Toilet Paper and the Tags on your blankets.  Probably your least favorite thing in the world is getting dressed or having your diaper changed.

At 1 years old your stats are...
weight: 22.46 lbs (85%)
height: 29 inches (43.5%)
head: 17.5 inches (37%)

You are such a huge blessing to our family and I truly believe that you must be the most loved little girl on the planet!!!!

Daniel Boone

Today was the third grade wax museum. Dakota was Daniel Boone. He is such a good student, he worked so hard on his report, poster and presentation. Each student had to have a 30 second blurb of information about their character. Dakota was so serious and stayed in character perfectly!!!!
