more Lego Land...

I thought that the best part of the trip was the fact that
Dakota was exactly 42 inches!!!!
He was able to go on any ride in the entire park.... and he did!!!
He went on everything from a huge roller coaster
to a robotic arm that spun around.

Another great part of the trip was the fact that the
park wasn't crowded at all.
Plus we had the private entrance from our hotel,
so we didn't have to wait in lines to get in
and usually could do a few rides before lines started building.

The one challenge was trying
to get Dakota out of all of the awesome play areas
so we could ride rides!!!!

One other small down side was the fact that
most of the rides only allowed 2 people,
and Dakota chose his dad for every single ride!
I was pretty much the third wheel for 4 straight days.

It was amazing all the stuff that were made out of Legos.
Scott was sure that most of the stuff
wasn't really completely made out of Legos.....
but me and Dakota were believers.

As you can see... Dakota was barely tall enough for this ride.
When I would look at the Lego Land website with Dakota
before our trip, he got so excited to dig for dinosaurs.
It is the first thing that he wanted to do when we got there.

We went and saw 2 different 4D movies.
Bob the Builder & Power Clutch

The Water Park!!!

Lucky for us, Lego Land's new water park opened a few days before we got there.
It wasn't open on Wednesday or Thursday, but Dakota could see the slides from our hotel. When it finally opened on Friday he could barely control himself.
He could have gone down slides all day long.

We were only there for a few hours..... but that was enough for Scott's stomach to get fried!!!!
He got probably one of the worst sunburns I have ever seen.

Lego Land's Sea Life Aquarium

I kept going back and forth on whether we should go to Sea World or not.....
but since Lego Land has an Aquarium
and we already had the passes we decided to skip the other park.
It was definitely not as good as Sea World,
but Dakota didn't seem to mind.

We happened to be there at feeding time
so we got to see the Sharks eat which was pretty cool.
They also had a small hammer head shark there that Dakota loved!!!

the Beach...

Scott's favorite part of the trip was going to the beach.
Dakota loved it too...
that is until he was taken out by a big wave!!!
He spent the rest of the time sitting on a towel
yelling that he never wants to got to the beach again
and that the waves are so dumb!!!
It was so sad....
because up until that he was having a blast running from the waves.

San Diego... here we come!!

Saturday night we got home from San Diego......
and boy did we have fun!!!!

I was able to find 5 day passes for the price of 1 for Lego Land
& we stayed at a hotel that had its own private entrance into the park
so we did a lot of Lego Land!!!

As far as blogging goes, I guess that I will break the trip into sections for your viewing pleasure.
Get ready for a lot of pictures of Dakota....

Dakota on his first air plane flight (at least that he can remember)

Showing off his awesome bed!
Dakota is obsessed with Jeeps,
so Scott thought that it would be fun to rent one.
Secretly I think that Scott enjoyed it a lot more than anyone else.
